Philomath Chats: Affordable Housing & Homelessness
When:In honor of Martin Luther King Jr’s work on housing and equity, and in recognition of January as Poverty in America Awareness Month, the City of Philomath invites everyone to join us for a discussion between local and regional experts, community leaders, and Philomath residents on difficult topics for all of Oregon’s communities. We will discuss the challenges, opportunities, and ideas that are applicable to Oregon’s smaller rural communities. Our invited guests include:
- Karen Rockwell (Benton County Habitat for Humanity)
- Julie Arena (Benton County H.O.P.E. Program Coordinator)
- Shonn Leno (Grand Ronde Tribal Housing Director)
- Sami Jo Difuntorum (Siletz Tribe's Executive Director of Housing)
- Harriet Hughes (Local Affordable Housing Property Owner)
